Looks Like I'll be experimenting with a new Bait set this year.
Skeeter has so graciously offered to mentor me on setting up a Skeeter Feeder for this fall. I'm in the process of collecting the materials this week and hope to have the main components assembled before he returns from a long awaited fishing trip.
A big "Hats Off" to Skeeter for sharing the results of his countless hours of toil... when you talk about Bear Obsessions ...I think Skeeter wrote the book !
Thanks Again "Big D"

Well Skeeter ...I've been called a lot worse by lesser men .... so I'll take that as a compliment!
Walleye is not a fish found in our eastern waters of Nova Scotia, I've never had the pleasure of tasting them. Looking forward to everyone's posting their season's progress !
Keep a tight line my friend!

Stupid me went today to check the camera after putting it out last weekend and when I got there it was set on setup mode not pictures. Seen some bear sign though. One crappy thing people were seeing a big bear around and the other night a 350lber was hit just 5 minute drive from my bait. Let's hope it wasn't the one I want to get on camera.

Happened last year as well. At my deer stand came back a week later bear tracks everywhere, everything torn and wrecked. Went to check cam and wouldn't ya know it. Setup mode. Told myself would never happen again and sure as shit it happened again. I'll leave it for another week or 2 and check again. Lots of sign but just not sure what's coming in.

Yep ...Sure as Shootin' !
I started putting 2 Tcams at the bait site ...telling myself it would give me a different angle. I think subconsciously I was hoping I'd double my chances of having remembered to leave one camera on !

I use 1 site and it has to be steel. I hunt from a ground blind from 10 yards out.
