I checked the bait site today. Sat. 5/7/16. The barrel was completely empty. So I raised it 6 inches and re baited. Got 1 stand up also. The ground blind is at 10 yards the tree stand is at 15. The camers are not working. AARG I will put my son on stand next weekend.

I see we're back to your favorite site this year ! What's your Lad using for choice of weapon? Sounds like something short range.
Sucks about the Tcams ... did you get them working before you left baitsite?

bring a video camera for the hunt!
I leave tomorrow for some fall bait site preparation. One site needs to be moved about 1/2 mile because of campers/vandals and the other 4 just routine stuff. |

Heading up in the morning to bait. I am sure the barrel is empty. Not good if it has been that way for a few days! My son will be hunting the evening. I'll let you know what I find.

Just got back from baiting. The barrel was empty. The barrel was raised another 6". The 2 cams were not working. ARRG
But did get them so. The bottom of the feed hole is at 54". There is a brown bear my son thinks is a grizzly. I think the ears are to long, but it does have a little dish to its facial profile. He and his wife will be sitting this evening. His 1st sit in a ground blind , hers in a ladder stand.
