Thanks for the welcoming note. Yes I am the owner/guide of Annapolis Valley Outfitters, my name is James Veinot and I am a born and raised Valley boy. Brought up hunting and fishing as a young kid, I have absorbed every bit of knowledge I can form all my mentors and now ready to share that, and the joy of hunting in the Valley with my clients. Bear hunting is my focus for my opening year but plan to offer deer hunting and some fishing in 2020. With week 1 of fall bear season booked and many opened up baited sites on the go already, it’s shaping up to be a great opening year.

Hey Jamveino, welcome to our forum. Sounds like good hands-on credentials to me. Tuketu took my wife & I thru your beautiful valley on a quick sightseeing trip some years ago. Don’t get back to your neck of the woods too often. Sitt’in here look’in out on the north end of Puget Sound, about an hr south of British Columbia.

Hey James ...Great to have you on board ! We welcome any input you may have to offer, whether it be baiting tips, strategies or just some great experiences you've had over the years.
I'm from the Valley myself, originally an air force brat, then moved to Kentville for about 20 years. Cut my teeth on bowhunting bear in the Aylesford Lake area. We thought it was great when the small string trail timers came out ...High Tech back then !
Hope to see some trail cam shots and pics of some happy hunters in the future.
