Old camps and fading memories

Ive been lucky enough to own a couple hunting camps and graced to have many nights as a guest in others. I sold my last one maybe 10 years ago. And thats something I never thought I would have done. WE busted our butts to get and keep the old place in good repair. I'm forever greatful I took lots of pics.

I think the thing I miss most ( as much or more of the great hunting back then) are the long , often animated, conversations that lingered into the wee hours of the morning offering us a scant 4 hours sleep before the morn's hunt. 

Good times there with family and friends. Often replicated elsewhere but never duplicated. 

Many a night I turn in wondering if I should have kept it.
