Well, got the picture but now explanation. I too confess that I have not hunted w/a bow since 1954 & deeply regret it. This rifle w/an 18"bbl is handy in the woods along w/the red dot sight. Makes for putting the smack on a black bear in the shadows. Some of you tech-savvy members looking at the funny green thing w/a string...just consider it a mechanical gps. Bruce

Ya know ...with all the new technology with camo patterns, that old Woodland camo still works !

Old can be good & yes it is a 45-70. Never shot at or got a bear beyond 80 yds, most about half that so this thumper is plenty enough. The red dot sight don't like riding on my bike's handlebars during a mechanized spot & stalk. So I look more like Boer mounted infantry.
