way back when

Closed the deal on Friday...hit the woods Saturday...it's only 80 acres but there aint a spot I havent left a boot track on lol.....the hunting will be off the charts....its got goose, duck, pheasant, and deer are off the charts...it's likely the highest deer per acre in the province.  Now just to find a big one.....around noon I stopped for a little break under a clear spring sky....out in the field I could see 5 deer, a half dozen geese, and 3 rooster pheasant...it felt good to eat a field snack on my own dirt again.....for the first time since selling the camp....I felt like I had a home again fo all things wild !
