Havent had much action lately, lots of fresh greens for them around im guessing. Heres another bear coming in usually in morning every couple days. Pretty much same time. Looking forward to fall really want to take a bear this year.

Here's hoping that you'll actually be able to devote some more time to hunt this year . Last year was kind of a write off for ya !.

Just curious is anyone seeing any bears around. Have been seeing a fair amount around Pictou county and hearing of a lot of people seeing them. Hopefully I get to put more time in this year. Will be going back to school for my apprenticeship from September 5 to October 20 but will be putting in as much time in between as possible.

Nope ... I've been posting on other forums no problem ...
bit of a pain in the butt tho no issues.
Don't know if I'd call that bear little , come fall it will be putting on the weight for winter.

Hopefully he thickens up Tuk. Really wanna take one this year. School gets in the way a bit September 05 - October 20 I'm in Halifax so I have the weekends but not much other then that until the end of October

I've never had much luck late into October, not sure if its the cranberries or deer baits but the bears just seem to disappear on me.
Lol ! You broke the news to your Dad yet! If I recall he was the Bait Master !
One Saturday is all you may need ... just make sure you get out there.

Concur on the Oct being the "disappear" month Tuk. Out here its spot & stalk or sitting over feed sites (course calling is often productive for the Bravehearts). Only popular food source late in Oct we have here is backyard fruit trees & its hard to get permission.
