once I have a hunt in sight, I pretty much switch to BH practice only. They pretty much always hit the same as my field-points but the sight pic for a trad shooter sure looks different with a big ol' bh on the end. At least to me. I think I'm heading up to nearby NB for a couple days bear hunting this month....so its all broadheads and 15 yards shot practice sessions for now. Anyone else practice w BH's?

Yup..agree....I always like to be ready...just in case a hunt comes out of the blue. I usually always have a shot in spare string ready to go as well. Which reminds me....right after this NB bear trip...I need to order a new one.

That's something I definitely have to get .. a second string.
I was hoping to be practicing by now but between work , wind and just crappy weather I haven't had a lot of opportunities. Every time I get the urge ... it's raining ... grrrr !
Good Luck on the hunt Roger !
