My weapon of choice at the moment is a Prime Impact. 50-60 lb I shoot pse carbon weave 200's with 100 gr G5 broadheads. Ripcord drop away rest and I just got a HHA optimizer lite that I haven't even shot it yet and as soon as I get rid of this cold I"m gonna go to the range and site it is and them I'm ready to go..

Yes, as I have said in another post, I have a cousin who is really into the trad bows and has hunted blackys in NS for a number of years. it has got me thinking. I"ve been playing around with building my own from trees here on our property so ya never know..................

I see the art and I"m not gonna even think about being that good. I would just like to make one that shoots and see if I like it before I invest in something that I'll have to tell the wife that it cost 1/2 of what is will actually cost..lmao
and yes, I do believe you know my cousin...that is how I've been introduced to most of the NS archery/hunting fb pages....he's also on this forum. He's squirrel

Ya...he & I always got along pretty good over the years....he and I each shot our first Caribou together here in BC back in the early 70's on a horseback hunting trip 15 miles back off the Alaska Highway just south of Liard hot springs .......oh, your secret's safe with me...lmao

I was already to help him tune it. When he shot it for the 1st time everything was real tight . Unbelievable. Right out of the box.

Just purchased my first longbow. I've been playing with building a selfbow out of maple from our property over the past couple of months. One of our granddaughters was over on Wed afternoon to shoot my first production.

shich is shown her on my tiller tree. I've been test shooting this bow for about a month now and am finding it quite fun to shoot sooooooooooooooooo. went to our local who has a very good bowyer and I'm told he's the best on the island. Took a fancy to this longbow and now I'm an owner.
