I don't know what it is ...maybe seeing all those photos of mlo's, Pete and Marcus's hunting camps or watching too much You tube hunting videos, driving me crazy ... but I had to do something. Now I don't have the quid to buy a big parcel of land and I wouldn't trust my skill to stay in anything I built so I convinced myself a tent might be the way to go.Don't have to worry about upkeep or break-ins, and best of all it's portable. So I took the plunge and headed to Cabelas and picked up a load of camping supplies.
Alaknak 12x12 with vestibule, Kitchen setup,stove and Disco beds.
Set it up in my 12 x 16 Shelter Logic shed to give me an idea of space.
I'm not allowed to go to Cabelas alone any more !

Tuk, what an awesome set up !! If you ever get a tag for the nonmotorized moose hunt in Cape Breton you will be completely set up.>Pete

Yeh it's a great setup Pete but I wouldn't want to be luggin' it too far from the road! The only downfall to this gear is the weight! But with a 4 wheeler and trailer I can get to places a travel trailer can't.

I'd be tickled to share my tent with Sideswipe ... and he already knows there's an standing invitation when ever he's ready.
I'll even pick him up at the airport ... Really Bruce ...I promise !
